1.What is the date and time of the Fall Fest?
This year’s New Hope Church Fall Fest will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. The event will be from 12pm-4pm. There is no raindate.
2.Where is the Fall Fest located?
We are in the park next to the Carvel located at 801 Carmen Ave, Westbury, NY.
3.How much is a vendor space and what will I get for that?
Each space is a 10X10 square. The cost is $40.
4. Do I need to bring tables and chairs?
Yes, you will need to bring all materials with you. You may bring tables, chairs, a tent, etc. As long as it fits in your space, you may set up however you wish.
5. What time is set up/break down?
We will be ready for you to set up as early as 10am. Our Fall Fest will begin promptly at 12pm. Please plan to arrive with enough time to set up your booth. You may begin breaking down at 4pm. Please do not plan to leave earlier than that as it will leave a gap in the floor plan of the event and may cause others to end earlier as well. If you are lost or running late, please call my cell at 516-853-5439 to let me know when you will be arriving.
6. What types of vendors will be there?
We aim to have a good variety of vendors while not duplicating products. In the case of Direct Sales companies, we will never have 2 sales representatives. We are a church offering a fun day to the community so we expect all products to be family friendly and appropriate for a church sponsored function. We reserve the right restrict the sales of any items we deem inappropriate.
All items for sale must be new and in good condition. Our event attracts families from all types of communities and socio economic backgrounds so items should be valued between $5-$50. You are asked to set up your own display and we respectfully ask that you come prepared with tables, chairs, tablecloths, decorations (as appropriate), and signage to keep your area neat and inviting for shoppers.
As a church we will be having free areas for the community such as temporary tattoos, pumpkin decorating, games, food, music and live animal entertainment.
7. Is electric available?
We do not have an ability to provide electric but you may bring a generator if you have one.
8. Will there be restrooms available?
We will provide port-a-potties on the day of the event.
9. What type of church is holding this event?
We are New Hope Church located at 675 Brookside Ct, Westbury, NY. We are a non-denominational Christian church with a mission to see lives transformed on LI through a church that lives out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This event is one way we like to reach out to our community and share God’s love.
10. How is this event advertised?
This will be our 9th annual Fall Fest and we have had other events in the same area so people have come to expect our events. We have mailed out thousands of flyers, distributed the info to our church members as well as the surrounding community. We have also advertised via our website and community sites that advertise Festival type events.
11. Who do I make the check out to and where do I send it?
